Air Ambulance responds to local incident

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 11.22 on Tuesday, 20 July 2021 following reports of an incident in the Benone Avenue area of Limavady.

NIAS despatched one Emergency crew to the scene. The charity Air Ambulance with HEMs crew on board was also tasked to the incident.

Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to Altnagelvin Area Hospital by ambulance.
