Queues for security at Belfast International Airport stretched as far as the front door of the terminal this morning.
Passengers are pictured in a lengthy queue, with some saying that they have been waiting for over an hour to pass through security.
One passenger said "Complete nightmare this morning in security. Arrived in good time for the 6:20 to #BHX. Didn’t call anyone fwd when the gate was closing. Very badly organised. No #accountability. Offered to book new flight and rejoin 2hr security Queue. #jokeshop#mess
Another said "55 minutes from front door to through security. I had already checked in online with no bag to drop. Long queues but well organised and felt much quicker. Staff and passengers all being calm and friendly. Queues are long but give yourself time."
