A 20-year-old man charged with a number offences including driving while disqualified, using a motor vehicle without insurance, failing to stop for police and causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving following an incident in the Crocknamack Road area of Portrush in the early hours of Saturday, September 25 appeared before Coleraine Magistrates Court this morning sitting in Ballymena.
Michael Higgins (20) of Quilly Road appeared by video link from Antrim Court cells to hear the charges read against him.
Higgins was remanded into custody and the case was adjourned to Coleraine Magistrates Court on October 25.
