Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is set to appoint a new Mayor next month.
It is the DUP's turn to nominate and Causeway Coast Community understands the process has already taken place within the local group with Councillor Ivor Wallace set to succeed the UUP's Councillor Richard Holmes.
Councillor Ivor Wallace represents the District Electoral Area of Ballymoney and currently sits on the Audit and Environmental Services Committee (Vice Chair).
