Councillors next week will discuss moving to Stage Two of the Capital Project Management Process for the Ballymoney Environmental Improvement Scheme (EIS).
A report to be presented to Councillors seeks approval from elected members to move the Ballymoney Environmental Improvement Scheme (EIS) to stage two of the Capital Project Management Process.
Stage one of the process was approved by Leisure and Development in February 2022 and was 100% funded by the Department for Communities (DfC) at a value of £129,843.
The goal of the project is to improve the public space in Ballymoney Town Centre by addressing safety issues on the roads and making it safe and easy for people to walk around. The design includes changes to the environment on High Street and in the Linenhall Service Yard, such as making the paths wider, repaving them, and updating the lighting and street furniture.
