Police have charged a 47-year-old man with a number of offences, including 12 counts of criminal damage, 2 counts of attempted criminal damage, 3 counts of common assault, 2 counts of assault on police, 2 counts of harassment, and 2 counts of intimidation causing a person to leave their residence or occupation.
The charges relate to a series of incidents which took place in in the Bangor area from October 2021 until August 2022.
He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court today, Thursday 4th August, via video link.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to an investigation and search which was carried out by the Bangor Neighbourhood Policing Team assisted by colleagues, including officers from the District Support Team, in the Ashbury Road area of the city yesterday, Wednesday 3rd August.
