Identity revealed of person bidding against Benvardin Kennels

1 Mins read

Following weeks of speculation, the identity of the second bidder in the process to buy the Benvardin Kennels site has been revealed.

In an update on Facebook this morning, BARK confirmed that the person bidding against them was Mr Edward Montgomery MBE, secretary and Northern Ireland representative for the Honourable Irish Society.

Mr Montgomery contacted BARK yesterday and informed them that he is determined in his bid to purchase the site to develop commercial opportunities.

BARK remain interested in the site but have said they will not enter a bidding war for land that has gone above the market value. However they hope that the vendor’s decision goes in their favour.

BARK said they are now looking at other sites in the local area and have no intention of closing or putting any animals down.
