Mark Hutchinson, Managing Director of Hutchinson Engineering, has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Northern Regional College.

Mark has been at the helm of his family’s successful manufacturing organisation for over 20 years. Under his leadership the company has developed into one of Northern Ireland’s foremost manufacturing firms, growing from a team of four to a 120-person strong workforce.

Professor Terri Scott, Principal and Chief Executive of Northern Regional College, stated: “Hutchinson Engineering is a shining example of a successful family business, the kind who are the engine of the Northern Ireland economy. Mark is not only an accomplished businessman but has also continuously supported the College as a benefactor and employer. We are delighted to award him with this honorary award.”

Mark commented: “I am extremely proud to receive an Honorary Fellowship from Northern Regional College. Hutchinson Engineering has established a long and fruitful relationship with the College over many years, so this is an honour which I am very pleased to accept.”

Northern Regional College’s Winter Graduations took place on Thursday 13th December 2018 at the Galgorm Resort and Spa.
