New Investment App for Causeway Coast and Glens

unnamedThe Mayor of Coleraine, Councillor George Duddy recently launched an investment App for the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area. The development of the App, led by Coleraine Borough Council is part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.

Mayor Duddy commented, “This App contains a wealth of information for people to have easy access to through their smart phones and tablets. The information provided in the app will show them the reason why Causeway Coast and Glens is a great place to set up, develop and grow a business”.

The free App, “Invest Causeway Coast and Glens” is now available to download from the Apple Store and Google Play. The app is specifically designed from a business investment perspective and provides a whole host of background information on the Causeway Coast and Glens area.

Martin Clark, Economic Development Officer for Coleraine Borough Council said, “The development of an investment App provides another tool, which we can use to highlight the economic benefits and attractions of the Causeway Coast and Glens area. The App provides key messages in a format that is accessible, easy to read and easily updated”.

The content of the App which has been compiled by Coleraine Borough Council in partnership with its neighbouring Council’s; Ballymoney Borough Council, Limavady Borough Council and Moyle District Council. The technical detail has been developed by Wavteq Limited, following their appointment by Invest NI.
