NIFRS tackle large farmyard fire Frosses Road Ballymena

Firefighters are attending an incident at a chicken shed on Frosses Road in Ballymena, Co Antrim after being alerted at 0948am

Two Appliances from Ballymena, one Appliance from Coleraine Fire Station, one Appliance from Ballymoney, one Appliance from Carrickfergus, an Appliance from Maghrafelt one from Kilrea one from Dungiven are all in attendance making 8 in total.

Upon arrival, Firefighters found the shed well alight. Firefighters are using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to tackle the fire.

 The incident is currently onging and is expected to last into late afternoon.
