If you are looking for a one stop shop for your Christmas gifts this year (or indeed any time of the year) then look no further than No6 Queen Street, Coleraine.
With a myriad of beautiful arts and crafts to choose from, there is something for everyone within this gem in the heart of Coleraine town centre.
No6 Queen Street began from a very successful pop up shop showcasing local arts and crafts during the Christmas period in 2014.
Such was its success that a number of the members realised that there was a demand for a permanent retail outlet in Coleraine.
So started a search for suitable retail premises which saw the group operating as a collective and opening in a small shop in No4 Queen Street, Coleraine with approximately 30 resident artists and crafters.
After just over 5 years such was the success they then moved to the much larger premises at its present home at No6 Coleraine which is four times the size of the original “Quirky wee shop” at No4.
No6 continues to operate as a collective group of artists and crafters with the seven members staffing the shop daily on a voluntary basis.
We have now grown to approximately 85 artists and crafters in residence from all over Northern Ireland who all sell their work through No6.
It’s taken a lot of hard work and passion over the years to champion arts and craft but it’s been well worth the effort.
There is something for everyone in No6 with an array of everything from fine art prints, photography, ceramics, knit wear, wood turning, to artwork and handcrafted crafts.
Now In its ninth year No6 continues to succeed with a growing customer base from Coleraine and the wider Coleraine area and further afield while still offering a diverse range of local handcrafted arts and crafts.
