David Morrell (44) appeared before District Judge Peter King yesterday morning via videolink at Ballymena Magistrates Court accused of the possession of a firearm with intent and two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition in suspicious circumstances.
He was freed on his own bail of £750 with a surety of £750. He was also ordered to reside at Ramoan Close in the seaside town of Ballycastle, to observe a curfew, report to police twice a week, and be electronically tagged.
The case was adjourned to 25th April.
The charges are in connection with the search of a property in the Coleraine area on Thursday evening, 14th April.
