Coleraine : Police continue to investigate ‘sudden’ death of woman

Police say that enquiries are continuing to determine the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman in Coleraine.

Police in Coleraine attended the scene of the sudden death in the Castlerock Road area of the town on Sunday, 12th February.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald has expressed condolences after the PSNI confirmed the sudden death of a woman in Coleraine.

The East Derry MLA said:

“There is shock in the local community following the sudden death of a woman in the Castlerock Road area of the town last night.

“Firstly, I want to send my sympathies to the woman’s family and friends at this difficult time as they deal with the sudden death of a loved one.

“A police investigation is now underway and I would urge anyone with any information to bring it forward to the PSNI.”
