Councillors this evening voted to keep natural Christmas trees instead of artificial across the Borough.
Councillors further agreed to upgrade festive lighting in Ballymoney, Coleraine, Garvagh, Kilrea, Portstewart, and Portrush over a period of four years.
The decision will go before full council next month for ratification.
