Dog rescued after falling over cliff in Ballycastle

A DOG which fell over a cliff was rescued by coastguard teams this afternoon.

Ballycastle and Coleraine Coastguard Rescue Teams were called to rescue Pippa the dog who had fallen from cliffs behind the caravan site at Claire Road, Ballycastle.

A rope rescue operation was carried out and Pippa was recovered to the top of the cliff with just minor injuries.
