EasyJet customers facing delays and cancellations departing Belfast International Airport - Report By Geoffrey Moffett

EasyJet has cancelled a number of flights today departing from Belfast International in what Causeway Coast Community understands to be due to 'crew sickness'.

Passengers are airing their frustrations on social media in how they've been getting limited information from the airline.

One said "0835 Belfast to Manchester.  Delay on delay. Now 1230 hrs.  No information here.  Is this flight actually happening?? Would be helpful to know #shambles"

Two flights were cancelled yesterday from Belfast International due to the same reason.

In a statement yesterday an EasyJet spokesperson said “Customers have been contacted and provided with their options which include rebooking onto an alternative flight or receiving a voucher or full refund. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

We have contacted EasyJet for further comment in relation to todays departures.
