Emergency services are dealing with a serious incident at Ballycastle beach involving a capsized pedalo.

At least four people are being treated on scene by the NIAS. The Charity Air Ambulance, HM Coastguard from Ballycastle and Coleraine are attending along with RNLI Beach Lifeguards.

Independent Councillor Paudie McShane said "The circumstances are unclear but thankfully with the response of emergency services and locals everyone was retrieved from the water.

"I'd take this opportunity to wish those involved a speedy recovery and thanks again those first responders to the incident."

Any injuries sustained were minor.
