Emergency services responded to an incident at Glas-Seal (NI) Ltd in the Belfast Road area of Ballynahinch this morning where Causeway Coast Community understands a man suffered injuries after heavy glass fell on him having been dropped by a crane.
Following a 999 call at 10.32am NIAS say they despatched two Emergency Crews, two Officers, one Rapid Response Paramedic, and the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS.
A NIAS spokesperson said, "Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital by Ambulance."
Fire & Rescue crews attended the incident.
A spokesperson for the Health and Safety Executive (HSENI )said "We are aware of an incident that occurred this morning in the Co. Down area, and are making enquiries."
