Coleraine actor James Nesbitt has been nominated for a BAFTA for his role in BBC One drama, The Missing.

Nesbitt played the role of Tony Hughes, a the father of a boy who went missing when on holiday in France.

The series has been nominated for a BAFTA in the category of Best Drama and Nesbitt has been nominated for Best Leading Actor. Other nominations in this category are Toby Jones for the role of Neil Baldwin in Marvellous, Benedict Cumberbatch for the role of Sherlock Holmes and Jason Watkins for The Lost Honour Of Christopher Jefferies.
