£1,500 fine for Co. Antrim Commercial Goods Vehicle Operator

A Co Antrim Commercial Goods Vehicle Operator was fined a total of £1,500 for transport offences at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court today.

The charges related to an investigation by the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) into vehicles owned and operated by Fearghal McMullan T/A McMullan International, 11 Clough Road, Cushendall, Co. Antrim.

Mr McMullan was fined £1,500 on five charges relating to tachograph and drivers hours offences, one charge for failure to provide tracking data and one charge for unauthorised use of an Operating Centre.

The Court also ordered Mr McMullan to pay an offender’s levy of £15 and £19 court costs
