16-year-old charged with Robbery and Assault of Limavady woman.

A 16 year old male has been charged with burglary and common assault. He is expected to appear before Londonderry Youth Court on Tuesday 24 November.

The charges are in connection with a burglary in the Coolessan area of Limavady shortly before 11pm on Monday 26 October. Police received a report that two youths had gone into the home of a woman and stole a purse containing bank cards and a small amount of money.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
