19-year-old arrested for vehicle interference in Coleraine

1 Mins read

North coast police officers arrested a 19 year old on suspicion of vehicle interference in Coleraine last night. Officers out on patrol on the Bushmills Rd saw someone trying car doors shortly before 1am.

Inspector Tony Boyce said: “Please remember to lock vehicles at all times and take valuable items such as computers or phones out of cars. Our officers are working hard to tackle this crime trend. But, much of it is opportunistic and we need people to take simple crime prevention steps to help put criminals on the back foot.”
