Appeal after man wielding knife attempts robbery of Pizza Shop in Coleraine

Detectives in Coleraine are investigating an attempted robbery at a pizza shop in Coleraine early on the morning of Friday 24 June.

A male in his twenties entered the New Row premises shortly after midnight. He brandished a knife, muttering something undiscernible to a staff member before fleeing.

The male, who is described as around 20 years old, approximately 6′ tall, slim build with ginger facial stubble, made his escape on a bicycle in the direction of Bushmills Road.

DS Wallace from Coleraine Reactive and Organised Crime is appealing for witnesses. Police can be contacted on 101, quote reference 22 24/06/16.
