BALLYCASTLE : Murder arrest after man’s body found in Ballycastle

Detectives have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Ballycastle. The body of the 48 year old was discovered at a house in Broombeg view at around 8.30pm on Thursday evening.    A 33 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently assisting police with their enquires.

Senior investigating officer DCI Gareth Talbot said: “Our investigation is at a very early stage and we’re keen to hear from anyone with information about this heinous crime.”
