Ballycastle Women convicted of Benefit Fraud

Two women were convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court today for claiming benefits they were not entitled to.

Sheree Morgan (24) of Altananam Park, Ballycastle claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £4,186 while failing to declare employment. She was given 120 hours community service.

She is also required to repay the outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.

Cecilia O’Hanlon (53) of Whitehall Court, Ballycastle claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £5,251 while failing to declare employment. She was given 100 hours community service.

Ms O’Hanlon has repaid in full the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency
