Ballykelly DAERA headquarters running to schedule – Archibald

1 Mins read

Sinn Féin MLA Caoimhe Archibald has  welcomed confirmation from the DAERA minister that the new departmental headquarters at Ballykelly is proceeding on schedule.

The East Derry MLA said;

“It is good to hear the new minister’s commitment to the relocation and to have confirmation of the timescales, with the project currently running to schedule.

“Design work is ongoing and builders are due on site in September this year, with expected completion of construction at the end of 2017.

“This is a hugely important project for the local area announced by my party colleague Michelle O’Neill when she was agriculture minister.

“I also welcome the news the minister has plans in place for staff relocation and to ensure business will not be disrupted.”
