Ballymena Police Investigating An Assault Reported Yesterday Evening

Police in Ballymena are investigating an assault which is reported to have taken place at Markstown Grove in Cullybackey on the evening of Thursday 15th October.

It was reported that a man in his 20’s was attacked by a number of males wearing balaclavas and carrying baseball bats at around 11pm. He suffered injuries to both hands, his head and body and is currently being treated in hospital.

Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley is appealing for information and would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact police in Ballymena on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
