Business Owners in the Bridge Street area of Coleraine are reportedly ‘livid’ with the constant daily building works since last Thursday.
Works continued throughout the Bank Holiday weekend with business owners taking to social media to announce to their customers that they were still open for business.
One local business owner said : “The street is being treated like a building site and no attempts are being made to listen to the concerns of traders trying to do business. No answers are being given as to why this street has been dug up and why it is taking so long!”
Local residents have also been taking to Social Media in the evenings to report that diversions have been put in place at Hanover Place / Circular Road, causing tailbacks, stretching as far as Tesco.
