Police are appealing for information following the report of an arson attack in the Drumahoe Manor area of Larne in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 11 September.
Inspector Michael McDonnell said: “At approximately 3.20am Police received a report that two cars which were parked up the side of a house had been set on fire.
“Both cars were completely destroyed.
Commenting further Inspector McDonnell said: “Both of these cars were parked close to a house and it is very fortunate that the house itself did not catch fire.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact Police at Larne on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
