Cash stolen following Armed Robbery in Ballysally

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in the Loughanhill Park area of Coleraine yesterday evening, Friday 18 December.

It was reported that at around 5.20pm, two males entered a house in the area and threatened the female occupant with a knife demanding money. The males made off with a sum of cash from the house. Both males are described as being aged between 20 and 30 years old, 5’6” – 5’10” tall and of slim build.

Detective Inspector Stewart is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist in the investigation to contact Detectives in Coleraine on 101. Detectives are particularly keen to speak with the occupants of a white coloured car that was parked in the area at the time of the robbery. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
