1 Mins read

Chancellor George Osbourne has announced today £4million worth of funding to establish an Air Ambulance Service for Northern Ireland.

There has been a campaign to have such a service established for the past year since Dr John Hinds, known as “The Flying Doctor” was killed in a motorcycle accident.

A petition calling for an Air Ambulance gained over 65,000 signatures and was presented to the Northern Ireland Executive last year.
