1 Mins read

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens, Councillor Michelle Knight-McQuillan has wished the residents and visitors to the Borough a happy Christmas and New Year in her Christmas Message.

Mayor Knight-McQuillan said:

“I would like to take this opportunity to wish residents and visitors to the Borough of Causeway Coast and Glens a very happy, peaceful Christmas and prosperous New Year.
“I’m sure many of us will be looking forward to a welcome break with some time away from work. However, I also appreciate that others will be working right through the Christmas period ensuring vital services are delivered. May I take this opportunity to send my sincere thanks to all of you.

“I’ve experienced a busy and rewarding few months so far in my role as the first Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and it has been a great honour to represent the people of this area during the merge of four locations in coming together as one.

“It’s been a wonderful year in which change has brought our communities together. Christmas offers us the opportunity not only for celebration but also for reflecting on the past and looking ahead to the year to come.

“I wish to thank everyone for their support to Council as I continue to support you in 2016. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.”
