Coastguard assist PSNI in search for Person at Risk in Portrush

At approximately 7:20am on Tuesday 8th March, the Coleraine Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked to assist the PSNI, following a report of a person at risk on rocks at the West Bay Portrush.

Portrush Lifeboat was also alerted. After an initial search of the area by Coastguard and Police Officers had not located the woman at risk, information was received that she had been taken into the care of a family member and removed from the scene.
