Coastguard Team Rescue Dog At White Rocks Portrush

Coastguard Rescue Teams responded to a report of a small dog trapped on a cliff ledge yesterday (6th MArch 2016). A Coastguard Rope Rescue Technician was lowered down to the trapped animal – a year old schnauzer. The team say “The frightened canine was placed in a Coastguard dog rescue bag, and reunited unharmed with its grateful owners at the base of the cliff.”

Coleraine Coastguard are reminding the public to always keep your dog on a leash near cliffs.
