Coleraine Chocolatiers headed for St James’ Palace

1 Mins read

Artisan Chocolatiers from Coleraine, The Chocolate Manor, have been selected to supply their handcrafted products at an event hosted by HRH The Duke of York at St James’ Palace.

Geri Martin, a spokesperson for The Chocolate Manor spoke to Causeway Coast Community and had this to say:

“I entered the Food & Drink category of the [email protected] Entrepreneurship competition at the end of September. I was asked by The HRH Duke of York’s office the very next day to send samples for tasting, and we received a tweet from his account two days later thanking us.”

“It was only on Tuesday 20th October that we discovered we had been selected as one of the 12 food and drink suppliers for the finale event taking place this Monday 2nd November at St James’ Palace.”

“In a week we handcrafted 2200 printed chocolate discs and presented them in a clear box – they were sent earlier this week and will be given to each of the 550 guests at the event. I have been invited to attend, and to showcase my unique printed products at the event also.”
