Coleraine Coastguard and Portrush Inshore Lifeboat Attend Call Of Report Of A Swimmer In Possible Difficulties

1 Mins read

Yesterday morning, Coleraine Coastguard and Portrush Inshore Lifeboat conducted a thorough search of the West Bay area, following a 999 report of a swimmer in possible difficulties. Although both Coleraine Coastguard and RNLI units were quickly on scene, no trace of the man, or his clothes (which had been reported by the first informant as being near the rocks), could be found. Presumed false alarm with good intent.
