Coleraine match cancelled as IFA keep Portadown Suspension in Place

Coleraine FC’s match against Portadown on Saturday night will not go ahead as the Irish Football Association have confirmed that Portadown’s suspension will remain in place until Monday.

The club was suspended from all football activity by the IFA after refusing to pay a fine they received back in April for making undisclosed payments to players.

In a statement given to the Belfast Telegraph on Tuesday, the Irish Football Association said :  “The Irish Football Association today confirmed that its Disciplinary Committee has suspended Portadown Football Club from all affiliated football for non-payment of disciplinary fees.
