Following a large air and sea search for missing kayaker Robert Hanna the search was handed over by the Coastguard to the PSNI on Tuesday.
As the primary responder for missing person searches, volunteers from the Community Rescue Service were called out by the police and have carried out extensive searches along the Antrim coastline on Tuesday night for signs of the missing man.
The searches were stood down for the night as darkness approached and resumed this morning with CRS volunteers returning to search the Co Antrim coastline.
