County Antrim goods vehicle operators fined a total of £750 for operator licensing offences

Two County Antrim commercial goods vehicle operators were fined at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The charges related to an investigation by the Driver & Vehicle Agency (DVA) into the suspected fraudulent use of goods vehicle operator licensing identity discs by TST Transport Ltd.

Creagh Concrete Products Ltd, 36-38 Blackpark Road, Toome, was fined £500 on one charge of fraudulently lending an identity disc to TST Transport Ltd.

TST Transport Ltd, 3A Ballyweaney Road, Cloughmills, was fined £250 on a related charge of fraudulently displaying the identity disc on one of its vehicles.

Creagh Concrete Products Ltd was also ordered to pay costs of £40 and an offender levy of £15 while TST Transport Ltd was ordered to pay costs of £25 and an offender levy of £15.
