David Cameron says he will “never validate” DUP’s stance on Gay Rights

1 Mins read

Prime Minister David Cameron said yesterday during an interview with Radio 1 that he will “never validate” the DUP’s stance on Gay Rights.

Mr Cameron was challenged by a woman from Derry to rule out a coalition with the DUP because of their views on gay rights.

The Prime Minister made a point of highlighting his own views on gay rights and said that he would continue with equality for gay and lesbian people if he remains Prime Minister after the election.

The DUP however have already ruled out a formal coalition and had told the BBC that they were not seeking Cabinet Positions.
