Deputy Mayor calls for NW200 launch to be moved to Causeway Coast & Glens

Deputy Mayor Councillor Darryl Wilson has called for the launch of the Vauxhall International North West 200 to be moved to a location within the Causeway Coast and Glens.

At Council’s Leisure & Development Committee meeting, Cllr Wilson proposed the following motion : “That Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council approach the organisers of the North West 200 and request that the NW200 launch be moved from Belfast to a location within the Borough”

The proposal was seconded by Alderman Maura Hickey and will be sent to Full Council for final approval.
