At tuesday’s meeting of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Leisure & Development Committee, Deputy Mayor Cllr Darryl Wilson questioned Council officers why the cafe at JDLC has been vacant for 28 months.
Cllr Wilson said that this was causing a negative impact on the facility and noted that Council could have been acquiring rent for the facility, reducing the burden to the ratepayer. He also asked for an update to be brought back to same committee within the next month.
