Duncan expresses sympathy following tragic Ballycastle Death

1 Mins read

SDLP North Antrim Representative Connor Duncan has expressed his sympathy to the victim and her family following the tragic news of the death of an elderly woman in the Diamond area of Ballycastle.

Mr Duncan said: “I understand that the woman was walking in the Diamond area of Ballycastle when she was hit by a car around 1.45 this afternoon. She was taken to hospital, but sadly died of her injuries.

“I want to extend my deepest sympathies to both the victim and her family at this difficult time.

“I would urge all drivers in the area to exercise caution on the roads, especially as we move into the winter months when road conditions will worsen.”
