The body of a man has been found in the Dunluce Road area of Portrush.
The discovery was made by a member of the public at around 9am this morning, Sunday 22nd November.
Chief Inspector Mark McClarence said: “Enquiries are underway to establish how this man died and a post mortem is due to be carried out on the morning of Monday 23 November.
The man has not yet been formally identified however we are following a definite line of enquiry.”
The Dunluce Road remains closed between The Skerries caravan park and Ballybogey Road and is expected to remain closed until after the post mortem is carried out tomorrow morning.
