Councillor William McCandless has met with the organisers of the upcoming Easter Sunday Cruise alongside the PSNI and Council Officers.

In a statement, Cllr McCandless said:  “The event organiser of the Easter Sunday Cruising Event met today ( 7th March 2016 ) with council officers, the PSNI and I to discuss the forthcoming event.

“We discussed various options to cope with the influx of traffic to the area, a consensus was reached by all that the NW200 pits would be an acceptable rendezvous point for the event, and will hopefully alleviate the conjestion in Portrush which was experienced last year.”
