Elderly lady hospitalised after being struck by vehicle

Police are investigating a road traffic collision in Gilmore Street, Ballymena at around 2pm on Friday 04 December.

Constable Chris Glasgow said: “A vehicle struck an elderly lady and she was taken to hospital by ambulance. She suffered head injuries but these are not thought to be life threatening.

“We are working to establish the circumstances of the collision. If you were in the area at the time and saw what happened, please let us know.
