Fire Crews called to two-vehicle collision on Ring Road, Coleraine

Fire crews from Coleraine and Portstewart were called out to reports of a two-vehicle RTC on the Ring Road in Coleraine on Saturday 9th January

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 2:17pm to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision at the Ring Road area of Coleraine on Saturday 9th January.

“One Fire Appliance from Coleraine Fire Station and one Fire Appliance from Portstewart Fire Station were deployed to the scene. One man was rescued by personnel from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and was treated at the scene for non-serious injuries.

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 2:46pm.”
