Firefighters called to single Bonfire related incident in Coleraine area on 11th Night

Firefighters were called to attend only one bonfire related incident on the 11th/12th of July in the Coleraine area this year.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) received a call at 00:13am to a report of a bonfire alight at the Ballindreen Road, Ballybogy area of Coleraine in the early hours of Tuesday 12th July.

“One Fire Appliance from Coleraine Fire Station was deployed to the scene. No action was required by Firefighters as the bonfire was allowed to burn.

“Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service finished at the scene at 01:05am.”
