Firefighters Used Cutting Gear To Release A 70 Year Old Man From Car

NIFRS responded to a road traffic collision involving two cars on the Broad Road in Limavady on Monday. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to release a 70-year-old man from one car. Three other casualties were out of the cars on arrival of FRS. The rescued man and two casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance. Fire crews from Coleraine and Limavady stations attended the incident.
