Five People Taken To Hospital Following RTC On The Ballybogy Road

Police attended a report of a single vehicle RTC on the Ballybogy Road in Ballymoney close to its junction with Oldtown Road shortly after 5am this morning, Saturday 05 December.

5 people, 3 males and 2 females, were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries. One of the females is described as being in a serious condition. A 22 year old male was arrested on suspicion of a number of motoring offences and subsequently released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Police would appeal to anyone who was travelling on the Ballybogy Road this morning and who witnessed the collision to contact officers in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.
